Trouble with 1999 Ford Taurus SE delayed accessory feature?

Hi, I recently bought a used Ford Taurus and had some trouble with the accessory delay feature. Radio is supposed to play a maximum of 10 minutes after you take the key from the ignition or until the opening of the door, according to the manual. However, this feature does not work all the time and when he does not usually play for a few seconds. I was wondering if anyone knew what could cause this problem and if theres any way to configure the accessory delayed. I looked online and have so far been unable to find anything on this issue. Thank you in advance!

No way to configure it as it is configured this way from the factory in the module itself.

If you have a problem with a door ajar light on the car (interior lights to come on the door or the light on the dashboard), it will cut off service .. also a faulty ignition switch or set incorrectly can do


But generally, I would say that the door switch on the latch inside the door on the driver's door is at the root of your problem and cause this problem.

Where is the inline fuse for the accessory wire in a 1993 ford explorer sport/mazda navajo located?

Ive checked all the fuse under the dashboard of the driver's side of the box and they are all good, I checked every fuse under the hood, and they are all good. Im set there is another fuse, but its not in the dashboard behind the radio. He worked up some fuses blew. I've replaced, but the accessory work isn't over yet.
Its the only thing on the car isn't working.

INLINE means it can be anywhere the wire can move.

But if you've checked all fuses then probably this is NOT the fuse. You are assuming that there is a fuse in line (correct?). You also wrote the

"He worked until a fuse blew." How do you know?

Son break all the time and the connections are loose, etc.

Now look under the dash again and check every connection. Check the other connections (as in May after market radio that took advantage of wiring accessories).

Ultimately, it is fairly simple matter to repeat the accessory plug if nothing else on the pans.
