How much should I expect to pay for an extended warranty on a new Chevrolet truck? Is it based on the price of the truck or they just try to get as much as possible to you?

This depends on many things, everything can not be answered based on as little information as a "new Chevy Truck.

What model? What type of extended warranty? Can cover the power train only, it is also other basic systems such as suspension, steering, heating / cooling and security? Will it be a bumper "bumper cons' covering virtually all non-consumable? How long will be? Extending coverage to the original 4, 5, 6 or 7 years and / or 50, 60, 75, or 100 miles? How a franchise you choose?Would you pay $ 200, $ 100 or $ 50 per incident or anything? The security you provide coverage for rental car during service visits? I have a chevrolet truck transmission question?

I have a 96 Chevrolet truck, half ton, full size wheel drive, an automatic transmission in it. it has lost reverse. I have access to a transmission 95, but the wiring harness is supposedly different. Is there a way to make work 95 in the truck 96 such as A, etc. adapter cable kit if so any idea where to get such a thing. I know that everything else will bolt up, the entire electronic problem. thank you for your time.

recent transmission has another computer to make the transition you need a pro for this job for you. the son going into the valve body. you may be able to use the body of the old valve. Go on line to ask. Type mods or transportation, contact with a hot rod shop and ask questions about conversion from year to year.
