estate agent?
What should I study or do to be eligible to become a realtor?
Agree with everyone here, but in the absence of any help to you, here are some tips. Go to the National Association of Realtors pages of career advice from eers.asp http://www.naea.co.uk/qualifications/car.
There are no formal qualifications needed to become a Realtor. In fact, you need very little - you did not even need a license to operate such a way that anyone can do. To work for an established real estate agent, I would like to refresh your copywriting / descriptive skills, make sure you have some basic arithmetic and develop your interpersonal and organizational skills to succeed.
I wonder why someone would want to be one though!
What can a real estate agent and broker require you to sign in a real estate deal?
I am filing on certain property in which the seller and his realtor was not very forthcoming in their disclosure documents. Thanks to a third party, I discovered things on the property are the disadvantages (such as occasional flooding) but I am ready to forget and even buy property. I released all my contingencies and we have a set closing date.
My real estate agent happened to tell the agent of the seller we discovered some of these things on the property - the largest flood - and now the agent selling property wants me to sign a bunch document listing what I thought as if she had told me about them. I do not want to do - it took considerable effort for me to discover these issues and have already signed on contingencies. I do not think I need to also let's Off The Hook, as if she had revealed these things to me - it did not. The agent can force me to sign them?
I wonder if a real estate agent can legally force me to sign informal documents and misleading to advance to purchase? The seller and I have already signed all legal documents, as stated in our legal contract.
You have a LEGAL AND CONTRACT. all disclosures in the contract should be what the seller knows the property. Now, another officer may require you to sign anything. Basically, what the agent is trying to cover his ass client-side if the sale has a problem with it, you can always take it before the arbitration (see how they like that). Anyway the sales agent is not in his right to other docs. for disclosures, or let you off the hook. You have no recourse if you do. Hope this helps.
