Stock Market?

Hello, Im 19 years old and I wanted to learn more about the stock market and how it works.
In the stock market right now and I see all these things that really DONT understand, hoping that someone could tell me what all this means?

Knowing all this can someone tell me what all this means and tell me if I possessed this stock of how much money I would have done?

There is much to know, but you've come to some fundamentals.

"$ Dern is the price at which the last transaction was made. A trade to be someone to sell shares to someone else. It is basically the price "go" of a share of stock.

Volume is the number of shares that traded hands during the day.

Change (% and $) is the change between the closing price of yesterday and the price ($ Dern). I'm not sure your "-" is a dash or minus sign. Below, I have assumed that it is a negative sign. If it is a hyphen, then change my "loss" to "win."

In this case, the current price is $ 27.87. When the market closed last night, the price is $ 27.87 + $ 0.12 or $ 27.99.

If you purchased the closing price ($ 27.99) and sold at this time ($ 27.87), you would lose 12 cents per share. If you had 100 shares, you would have lost $ 12 plus commissions paid to your broker.

Keep in mind that "last trade" is not necessarily the price you have to buy or sell. Price varies (more on some stocks than others). In addition, information is usually at least 20 minutes.

I play a stock market game for my economics class ... I do have 3 questions for a financial advisor to come talk to us .... any help would be great and I need help understanding the stock market while!

If you want to impress your teacher:
"I saved $ 200 since I'm young, I want to make immediately a long-term investment risk, what is your suggestion?

If you want to impress your colleagues:
"What are the things companies can do to artificially inflate their stock value? Is it effective? "

and at least if you want to surprise the palestra:
