Has anyone been to Hawk's Cay Resort in Florida Keys?
Have a family trip planned for 8 adults and 4 small children for Hawks Cay Resort?
Anyone been there or heard?
Yes, it's beautiful, resort very there, very expensive. There are some interesting side trips and boat trips you can take.
The only thing I turned off their dolphins was drafted. They claim they can "swim free" (for a load of fat) with them. They say they are in a large lagoon, but the real space, they are very small for them.
With a group like you, however, it should be fun, if somewhat expensive vacation.
On the way down, do not stop at one of our favorite places (have not been to the keys in a few years) ...

Where is the best resort to stay in the FL keys to do the family thing with a 3 y/o.?
I looked at Hawks Cay but still not sure. I want my daughter to be happy other beside a pool at the resort. Although she could swim for 4 days straight. LOL Any experiences would be greatly appreciated!
im sorry but the only one I can think out of business, God knows why ... it was packed in the summer (not as crowded as it was a good amount of people) may try to search Google for the stations there?

So Near and Yet So Far!
I was told as a girl that the devil is in the details, and knowing that (with 30 + years in this wheelchair) taught me patience and perseverance. That said, the only oddity worse than waiting for the delivery of this pioneer sailboat is seen sitting on the dock and not be able to navigate it. . . yet.
First, let me say that I am in fear of what Scarper Hake and the team has done. In addition to all the changes they have created a handicap for me, RK Seaward (retracting keel) sailboat series designed and manufactured by Hake Yachts, LLC is organized (and sea) breaking in itself.I can not tell you how many sailors long as I spoke (just yesterday) who simply can not wrap their heads around the notion that a type of fresh water boat with 1,200 pounds of lead ballast on the end of a hydrodynamic keel, or more than six feet beheath body may, with the flip of a switch, sailing off the Atlantic, in the Everglades, and safely plant his bow on the beach of the island. These old sea dogs are all programmed from many decades of taste, said: "The veil is all choice."Primary among the" choice "is the story of a sailboat water choising shot (read: fixed keel with ballast significant well below the shell) or a sailboat" gunkholing "(read: Part of the ballast in the hull and a stop-or swing-down aluminum centerboad / keel which adds little or no stability in heavy seas).. The ramifications of a myriad of high performance sailboat that is equally amazing in these two parameters is always beyond understanding the most swabbie's. All I can say is check it out.
