Can I rebuild a 1950's ford Flathead engine than sell it for good profit?
I know some guys who are selling their 1950 Ford Flathead engine. They are still in the manners Ford, but I can get them out. The cars were their location for some time, but in body, they are in good conditon. Anyway, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy cheap and then rebuild them. I then sold them on the Internet. I lose a little money can I get more back by selling.

1934 Ford delivered V-8 power to the masses
Now, designing pay about the same amount for the car as you would for a run-of-mill-V-6 version. Seems crazy, right?
Well, back in the 1930s, which was the public reaction when word leaked out that Henry Ford had intended to put a V-8 engine to its line of low-priced cars and trucks.
Until that time, such an engine was the exclusive domain of luxury car sells, including the Lincoln division of Ford. Mass V-8 power to the people does not just apply to the Ford Model T every day or a replica of homeowners who could only dream of having that many bottles available.
But Henry Ford was determined to get there. His motivation was right: William Durant Chevrolet car manufacturer had already presented six-cylinder power its vehicles at low prices. The Chevy "Downcast Flame" inline six was not only an engine smoother-running, but delivered a huge power over 20 Ford-bog relatively easy up 40 horse four-banger. Consequently, by the end of model year 1931, Chevrolet had dethroned the model as most brands in stock market.
