I tried these at a local resturaunt, they were called Tennessee toothpicks ... They said that the battered jalapeno sauce, I tried and I can not get enough flavor, how before you dip them in flour and beaten after?

To make a stronger flavor, you might want to try the double dipping. First in the sauce, then flour and repeat again. On the first drop you can marinate a few minutes.
