How do I know which stocks institutions are buying or selling?

Institutions play an important role in stock prices, I'm aware of that and how it works. All I have to do is find out who is buying and selling what and when. Is there a site or another source where I can find this information?

Look at a graph of volume of a stock over a day. If there is a sudden surge of volume at a given moment, this means that the mutual fund has bought into it.

You can also obtain this information by visiting companies of mutual funds individual.

When do people usually settle on the house they're selling and the house they're buying?

Next year we plan to sell a condo and buy a house. We can not move our business in the new house until we settle, but we do not want to pay two mortgages. Also, the house is owned by a parent, so it may some leeway as to when we can move our stuff in.

Well, you have two different options. I'd probably first put your condo on the market. While getting it ready to show, start packing up everything that you do not need to make your condo looks really clutter free and you've already started packing. If you do not have room for boxes, renting one of these units self-storage. Or save it with a friend or relative.

Looks like you already know what house you buy, if I'm understanding correctly, and that the home you buy is owned by a parent.An alternative is to make an offer on the house before your condo is sold and put in a proviso that you can not buy the new house until your condo sells.
