Why do movies and shows make Ancient Egyptian songs always in minor keys?

Im trying not to stereo-type or something, but I noticed that all the films and performances involving ancient Egypt, always do their "Egyptian" songs in a minor key.

Why is that?

The ancient Egyptians really use minor keys only, or more? Either the film comes only because the minor keys in music sounds more strange?

Any help would be appreciated.

The biggest contention is that Egyptian music was pentatonic (5 notes) without semitones between them ... They deduce this from the position of holes in flutes.

There are some scales that are referred to as Persian, Arabic, Egyptian, and although I can not say 100% for certain How accurate they are originally ethnic music / folk from these countries / regions .... several times the exact locations are approximate. After all, they are not equal temperament until pretty recently.=)

It should be noted that many ethnic music is done in a minor key or minor .... Lots of it. You can say more in a minor key to a major key, at least from the point of view you can have more notes on the minor mode that sound good vs. all the major mode (think of the natural minor, harmonic minor , and melodic minor scales, for example).

I know of no period of Egyptian music fix there, I can not help you there .... I googled "Egyptian music mp3" and nothing of this period seemed correct caught my eye.

I use the music minor.Egyptian culture has always had a little creepy, so why not play it?

Why do many popular shows make fun of Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged?

I read this book and thought it was amazing but I see shows like Futurama and South Park make fun of her and not getting it? Anyone know why?

Ayn Rand was-probably-a limited perspective, idealized and romantic on the individual and society. This in itself highlights the actors.

If you add to that it is only read by people of a certain level of education, it is also a way to make fun of intellectuals, which began shortly after the caveman quoted something he read a cavewall. Society loves to laugh at themselves just intellectual.

So it is not his writings themselves that invite ridicule, as a point of view of adolescents and their acolytes stiffer.With this as the focus, you can see plenty of room for humor.
